About me
Welcome, I’m happy you're here! Mi nombre es Melannie Martinez. I am a bilingual Registered Behavior Technician and a Social Work graduate student. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During my academic career, I’ve had the honor to work with various populations and environments such as detention centers, sober living homes, schools, non-profit organizations, and mental health settings. I aim to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide psychotherapy services for the Latino/e/x Spanish-speaking community. As well as to help fill the gap between mental health and Applied Behavior Analysis.
As I pursue my career in social work, I’ve had the privilege to work with children with neurological, developmental, and intellectual disorders. I implement ABA therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis) for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 2-14 years old. My passion for both the field of social work and ABA has led me to focus on the significance of integrated and client-centered interventions. All the materials and resources shared emphasize quality and integration.
Thank you for being on this journey with me!
